Our Rollout Awning Anchor Kit is suitable for all awnings, and allows for different options when setting it up.
The Awning Anchor plates allow the awning legs to be detached from the side of the van or motorhome, to stand vertically, they are then securely anchored by screwing in a Ground Dog screw in peg on either side of the awning leg. (No more awning leg to walk into!)

Screw in Peg with Wing Collar (x4)
The Wing Collar is used with a Ground Dog screw in peg, when using the Anchor Plate to secure the awning leg vertically. The Wing Collar is an adjustable locking nut that can be varied to suit the depth of the ground. This means if you can only get half the peg into the ground, simply winding down the locking nut will make it just as effective, and means you don’t have to have the peg all the way in.
Screw in Peg with Hook Collar (x2)
The Hook Collar is used with a Ground Dog screw in peg, when using the high viz straps and safety spring. The hook collar is an adjustable locking nut that can be varied to suit the depth of the ground. This means if you can only get half the peg into the ground, simply winding down the locking nut will make it just as effective, and means you don’t have to have the peg all the way in.
Awning Anchor Plate (x2)
The Awning Anchor plate slides over the bar on the foot of the awning leg, it is then secured with two Ground Dog screw in pegs with the wing collars.
Safety Spring (x2)
Safety springs are a strong and safe alternative to the dangerous common sharp metal spring.
Tie-down straps with retaining clips (x2)
Bright yellow high visibility polyester straps, designed to be easily attached.
19mm Socket and Drill Adaptor (x1)
The Ground Dog screw in pegs have a 19mm head, which makes screwing in the pegs easy and fast! The 19mm head fits both the Ground Dog screw in pegs, and the stabilizer legs – this means you only need to carry one size drill socket!
Awning Hooks (x4)
The Awning Hooks slide into the sail track of the awning, great for hanging a few things out to dry without the need to erect a clothes line.
Canvas Bag (x1)
Keep everything in one place, and don’t lose items. The Bag is 36cm (L) x 13cm (W) x 10cm (H) made in a black canvas with orange trimmings.
